Depalletisers
Empty containers arrive by the pallet and have to reach the line one layer at a time. We design and build the machines that do it, from a single-operator layer sweep through to a fully robotic cell, and we support them here in New Zealand and Australia.
The job nobody should be doing by hand
Emptying a pallet of bottles or crates by hand is repetitive lifting, and it is usually the step that decides how fast the rest of the line can run. It is also where people get hurt and where containers get chipped and dropped.
A depalletiser takes the whole layer at once, at the same speed every time, and hands it to the conveyor in the orientation the filler expects. The accuracy tends to improve as much as the throughput.
We size the machine to your containers and your line rate rather than the other way around, whether that is one operator loading pallets or a fully automatic cell.
We build the whole range ourselves
We are one of very few manufacturers in this market that designs and builds a complete range of depalletisers from the ground up, rather than reselling somebody else’s machine.
That matters after the handover. Training, spares and service come from the people who drew the machine, not from an agent relaying questions to a factory in another time zone.
Our range covers food, beverage and FMCG manufacturers across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific: robotic cells, traditional layer-type systems in semi-automatic and fully-automatic builds, and specialised crate handling.

Our Depalletisers
Six machines, from a single-operator layer sweep to a robot cell. Tell us the container and the line rate and we will tell you which one fits.
-

PHS50 Semi-Automatic Depalletiser
One operator, empty containers off the pallet and onto the line. The simplest way to take the lifting out of a bottling or canning line.
-

PHS40 High-Level Semi-Automatic
Takes bulk loads of empty glass, plastic, cardboard or aluminium containers and transfers them to your conveyor a layer at a time.
-

PHS300 Automatic Depalletiser
Fully integrated and unattended. Handles glass bottles and jars, PET containers and aluminium cans across the full pallet.
-

PHS600 Automatic Crate Depalletiser
Empty crates off the stack automatically, with optional stack conveying and accumulation. Mild steel or stainless construction.
-

Robotic Depalletiser
An ABB arm for lines where the layer pattern changes or the footprint is tight. Designed, built and tested in our own workshop.
-

Robotic Crate Depalletiser
One articulated arm handling crates of different shapes, sizes and weights, on a line that changes format often.
Cloudy Bay lifted throughput without adding people
PHS Innovate delivered an automated depalletising solution for the bottling lines at Cloudy Bay, one of New Zealand’s best known wineries. Empty glass is handled carefully, the line keeps its rate, and nobody spends the shift lifting bottles.
Tell us what you are unloading
Container type, how many an hour, and what the line looks like now. We will come back with the machine that fits and an honest view of whether you need the automatic one.
