Wrappers
Stretch wrapping is what holds a pallet together between your palletiser and your customer’s door. We supply, install and support pallet wrapping machines across New Zealand and Australia, from a single turntable wrapper to a high speed ring wrapper running around the clock.
Our Pallet Wrappers
Two machines in the range today, with cornerboard application and topsheet dispensing joining them.
-

Turntable Wrapper
Up to 35 pallets an hour, loads to 2,500 kg and 2,100 mm high. Power pre-stretch, automatic clamp and cut, and a touchscreen anyone on the floor can drive.
-

Rotary Ring Stretch Wrapper
Up to 80 pallets an hour. The film ring travels around a stationary load, so the pallet is never spun and the wrap can start and finish anywhere on it.
Which wrapper suits your line
The choice usually comes down to two things: how many pallets an hour you need, and how stable your loads are. A turntable wrapper is the right answer for most single lines. A ring wrapper earns its higher price on continuous production, and on loads that do not enjoy being spun.
| Turntable Wrapper | Rotary Ring Stretch Wrapper | |
|---|---|---|
| Throughput | Up to 35 pallets per hour | Up to 80 pallets per hour |
| Maximum load weight | 2,500 kg | On request |
| Standard load height | 2,100 mm | 2,100 mm |
| How it wraps | The load rotates on a turntable | The load stays still and a film ring travels around it |
| Cycle start and finish | Bottom of the load | Any point on the load |
| Film use | Powered pre-stretch | Lower again, because the wrap pattern matches the load |
| Light or unstable loads | Rotation can disturb a light, tall load | The load is never rotated |
| Suits | Single lines, batch and shift work | Continuous, around the clock production |
| Relative cost | Lower | Higher |
